L.B. Walker & Associates has been in the business of property tax representation since 1966. Initially formed to provide consulting services for oil & gas/mineral interests in Texas, the company quickly expanded and extended services to all property types on a national arena. Determined to assemble a qualified work force, company organizers sought out associates with a range of credentials. Original staff members included accountants, engineers, certified property appraisers, former corporate property tax managers and former tax assessors & collectors. Each individual contributed various experiences and knowledge to the fledgling enterprise. From the beginning, we have built a solid staff of tax professionals who work together to provide complete tax management programs for our clients.
In May of 1979, the company was incorporated. In 1991, primary ownership of the firm changed as it did again in 1999. To date, we are a privately held company. We take great pride in the company’s history. In a time when many small businesses exist for only short periods of time, we are grateful to have flourished since 1966. Current leadership strives to maintain the core philosophies that our company was founded upon. Our focus is the client's best interests and satisfaction. |
